Here is the first ship that i stated out last night for ships that i need but have no stats for. i have done some fugding in a couple of cases since i could not find all the info on this ship. other thing i did was round off numbers when needed for uping or lowereing when it was above or below a .5 number. Armor on all these ships that get posted today are guess work. i too what the best armor inch wise and went with it for the armor value, if i could nnot find anything i listed something that seemed to work.
Sachsen class ironclad. (German) Hull: 10 Armor: 8 speed: 3 move and shoot step: cruiser armorment: 6 9.4 inch guns, 2 fore, 2 p, 2 s --- s7, m14, l21, pen 4, dam 4 6 3.5 inch guns, 3 p, 3s -- s2, m4, l7, pen 0, dam 1
this would be a minor upgrade of replacing the outdated guns with something that would be newer in the german navy during a refit in the 1880's or 90's to keep the ship in use. please feel free to makes comments on fixing things.

From what I have read on the Sachsen, which I'll admit is not a great deal, what you have seems to be a good representation. I am hoping to use your stats in an upcoming game to see how they fit against the other ships in my fleet. A lot of the chaps at the local club are having a bit of a campaign of sorts and having purchased most of our stuff from NAVWAR, I am in need of filling the gaps in my roster as it were.
In the interest of fairness and balance however, have you given any thought as to where to place this ship in regards to others of a similar class?
Cheers

thanks for the comments, i was thinking something like meybe 15 points and class it as a light cruiser. please let me know how she works out soon. i have not had any chaance to test her out at all. i have also done a fe other ships from the same time period since they where not done and i have a bunch of ships from the turn of the centry in 1/1000 scale from the hustan line of ships which where really neat.
