Does this optional rule apply to all british shells, main battery and secondary ones or only main battery?

Does this optional rule apply to all british shells, main battery and secondary ones or only main battery? As I read the optional rule p35-36 it makes no mention of Main or secondary just states "the shells used by the British". I believe the intent is to reflect poor manufacturing (break up on impact) and is meant to apply to all shells that have to roll for penetration. Of course like any rule you can house rule it to mean only Mains/secondaries for a particular scenario as long as you are consistent. HTH, |
