I just received a note from one of our service people overseas regarding how much he enjoys this forum and how it has helped expand the games we offer. I have to say, I'm just as grateful to everyone participating here (even you lurkers! ). I think some of the discussions here have really helped the games evolve to the next level. Just look at some of the convos on Colonial Battlefleet for instance. Everyone brought a ton of good ideas to the table and together we really made some significant improvements through making the right tweaks to the system! Who would have thought that my brilliant design could be improved?? LOL! ;D Anyway, just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone for making this community a success and the ideas and encouragement you've contributed to making our games the best they can possibly be.

We should be thanking you, first for making the games available and then for asking if we see ways to improve it. I remember buying a set of rules many years ago, I won't say what or by who as they are still around, where the introduction specifically said not to mess with or change the rules because it was his game! So thanks to you, Mrs. Dreadnought, Ken, and your play testers for getting all of these sets out. ;D

Hmpf! If someone doesn't want any part of their rules changed, they can give it to me (and all of the miniatures to go with it) . . . and I don't see anyone doing that. . . . After I've purchased rules, they are mine and I'll alter them for my use if I see fit.
And I believe that the above is the general feeling of most gamers.

Great to hear that our discussions are providing some enjoyment for our servicemen & women serving overseas. The forum certainly supplies a lot of items to consider when improving a game. Thanks to everyone.
