This is the De Grasse as designed – the name ship only was completed (to a much modified design)...in September 1956! (Completion obviously being delayed by the war) It appears that armour protection was similar to the preceding La Galissonniere class. I have given a value of 7 for AA, as the setup appears to have been more efficient – the main armament also being able to elevate to 70 degrees.
