This idea has worked well in another forum where I am a member, so I thought we could try it here if no one objects.
If interested simply post State/country and city. Every so often I will update the list in this post so that players can possibly find others in their area via PM. I have met other players in my area this way. I think most gamers are willing to drive a little ways for a good game.
Also, if you know of a CON it is a nice way to let others in commuting distance know.

Guys
Go to your member profile and enter your location, it will then show up under your user info on each post and everyone will know where you are!

I'm in the Comox Valley on Vancouver Island, BC, Canada . . . and I'm building my Pre-Dreadnought Fleets starting with the RJW forces . . . and I'm waiting for RotB2 to then build US, German and British navies.

NEW ZEALAND I am 10 minutes from central Auckland. My 1/6000th WWII fleets are under construction - I have most of the BBs, BCs, CAs & some CLs that are available, along with a few CVs, and a couple of CVNs and CGs, just for little light relief to put on the board and scare the hell out of my opponent...

Hi Dreadnought!
Actually, I'm a member of the local wargames club, but mention 'WW1 naval wargame' and I receive little interest. Its predominantly Ancients / Flames of War / Napoleonic / ACW at the moment...
The local games stores seem to be predominantly comic marts/CCGs/boardgames these days, apart from the ubiquitous Games Workshop.
Not given up - I'm thinking Tsushima on the table for the anniversary ;-)
Cheers! Wilf
PS Please feel free to shift this reply over to general discussion, if you feel its strayed off-topic!

Thank you, sir. I actually bought the Naval Thunder rules about a year ago but didn't get a chance to use them until now.
