Well, you probably know that I would like to see more Pre-Dreadnaught navies covered.

Coming up!
Barring any unforseen changes, Rise of the Battleship II is our next release.

Any kind of a guess as to approximately when "Rise of Battleship II" might be available? Summer? Fall? Winter? Next Year? What?

Could you please give us a "headsup" as to which navies will be covered in RoB2?

I would like to see stats for Auxilleries, lesser know ships and what if ships (german x ships for example) for WW2.

I'm planning on a "Ghost Ships" supplement that covers "Never builts" and provides "what if" scenarios. I'm thinking of might have one such "Ghost Ships" book for each of Battleship Row & Clash of Dreadnoughts with a lot of emphasis on cool scenarios for each.
As far as auxiliries go, I could possibly include them in Ghost ships, or just have a separate little mini-expansion for them for the people interested in them. By auxiliaries are we talking about the armed mercahnt cruisers? Anything else?

Hi Harry:
As you know i'm using 1:6000 ships but this would stand for other makers and scales as well.
My thought is that if there is a model made, people will have them, and want to use them in their games, so having the stats for the models that are made would be a good thing.
In the figurehead 1:6000 WW2 range there are a lot of minor classes and landing ships that would be very useful for campaign games (working on a WW2 skeleton for you to look at by the way).

Harry,
You must have missed my question . . . can you please give us an idea as to which navies "Rise of the Battleship II" will include? Also what years will be covered?

Didn't miss it. Meant to come back to it. I'm going to be making that decision sometime in the next week here. Time period will probably be 1895 - 1905, but there might be stuff to go back and to the Span Am war if you want.

Well, aside from some rather one-sided engagements between the Japanese and Chinese, the Spanish-American conflict was about the only one with combat.
Of course I'd love to see Britain, Germany and even France for some "what if" engagements too.

As far as Auxiliaries go, it would be nice to see some IJN Aux. Cruisers such as the Aikoku Maru class (3 ships in this class, armed with 8x5.5" & 4 x 20.6" TT + 2 aircraft), Akagi Maru class (3 ships in this class, armed with 4x6"guns), and 7 others with various armament outfits. The IJN Sub depot ships Jingei & Chogei were well armed with (4x5.5").
The Italian Sloop Eritrea (4x4.7") was armed as well as most Italian Navy DD's.
Do you have a list of the "Never Was" you plan to release or are you still taking suggestions?

I was going to go with whatever "Never Builts" there were in Conway's because that's what I have.

Agreed! Jane's stats were sometimes propaganda. I much prefer to use Conway's.
