Here's a list of suggested miniatures for use with Colonial Battlefleet: Man vs. Machine. If you own miniatures from Fox, or the former Ravenstar line, now you have stats for them. Attachments:

If you wanted to create stats for the Galactica . . . I would say use an Acropolis Refit class, subtract a point of armor, and replace half the fighters with Mark IIs.

A ship like Galactica makes wonder if ship-specific special rules would be in order? After all, although she was laid down and launched as an Acropolis ( Columbia), Galactica became so much more. Not sure if that would unbalance things too much. Regardless, love the look of the rules.

Okay, here are some more of my favorite places: Drew is a great guy with good service, look under battlestations! He also makes fighters under fleet scale fighters. All his minis look better than his painted pictures! studiobergstrom.com/Behrle Hubbuch III produces a few Cylon style ships and great fighters for the fleet. www.b-3designs.com/I also did stats for the b-3 designs which I passed on to Dread. We talked about these as a possible free download at some point. Hope these help.

I've bought the MVM and CB rules a couple of weeks ago having had a hankering for some BSG gaming. However, I'm completely confused by the miniatures on offer and the excel sheet that's in the OP. I can't seem to match many of Ravenstar's miniatures to the excel list. Also, is there somewhere which has some of the BSG background and fleet info. All I have seen is the new reimagined series which really only had vipers, raptors, Galactica and Pegasus in it. For example, what class within the rules would Galactica come under. Go easy, I'm a bit new to spaceship gaming and the genre in general...

For example, what class within the rules would Galactica come under. Warchariot is the one to confirm... but I believe the Acropolis Refit is the Galactica analog.

Cylon baseships are Three Blades. If you want to do Valkyrie and Berzerks those are Atropos and Pharaoh M respectively.

Thanks. I've just been working my way through what I can find on the Fox and Ravenstar sites. About half or so of the excel sheet still doesn't have a manufacturer.
Does anyone have a picture to see the relative scaling between Ravenstar, Fox, Armour Hobbies and Studio Bergstrom.

Does anyone have a picture to see the relative scaling between Ravenstar, Fox, Armour Hobbies and Studio Bergstrom. Sorry was away gaming in Denver this weekend with Third Fate Design ships and his home grown rules for BSG. The best thing to do is ask Fox to send you a list. (word file) of his models. The names will line up and many are the Ravenstar models. Ravenstar stopped making his models just before MvM came out because of a CD letter. He is trying to get rights to these designs and should know something soon. In the mean time, the above information from Fastgit and Daniel are correct, so you could use other Models by some of the above manufactures for these ships. Hope this helps

Does anyone have a picture to see the relative scaling between Ravenstar, Fox, Armour Hobbies and Studio Bergstrom.See above link as there are a mix of ships shown. All of these manufactures ship's fit well together, as do the others listed. The only ship at issue is Pegasus which is too small. That will be fixed very soon by Fox as he has a new one coming out in metal for about $23.95

Thanks. I've been trying to find some source material on the BSG Universe, since much of what I know revolves solely from the latest tv series which only really had the two battlestar's on the colonial side. Just trying to get a feel for the backstory.
Thanks for the link, I'd seen that but didn't see any manufacturers listed which meant cross referencing which I'd not done till later. Thanks for verifying they're all pretty much compatible.
Now I just have to finish the 12 other periods & projects I have on the go before I can start a new one! A familiar tale to most wargamers I'm sure!
