I used (mostly) the names of mythical monsters for Cyborg class names which the Colonials use to designate a type of ship, like NATO and the Allies during ww2 did/do. The Cyborgs would not refer to their vessels by these designations ( like the Soviets dont call their Kirov class BCGN a Kirov class at all). Kraken, Hydra, Basilisk, Ogre, Troll, Wraith, Banshee, Medusa, Vampire, Kappa, Manticore, Wyvern, Gorgon, Chimaera, just for a few examples it got sorta hard coming up with a total of 49 class names for the Cyborgs. THey are the the enemy so the names of their ships ( as given to them by their human opponents) should evoke dread, hate and horror.
I (mostly) used the names for mythical heroes, demi-gods and Gods for the names of Human vessels any mythology was fair game, the more powerful and higher up in the pantheon of gods the larger and more powerful the vessel.
this just worked out pretty well, with so many miniatures for both fleets naming each class became a small fun challenge.
