I would say this is way off topic... since Seattle lost I was pulling for seattle last week as bird hunting (Eagles/Falcons) was going well for for the Pack...Bear hunting worked out pretty well today.

Congrats to Green Bay & Pittsburgh! Should be a great match up...now two weeks of hype waiting for the big show. Packers barely made the play offs at 10-6 regular season record after being early favorites to win the division. Interesting facts are that 7 of the starters on on Injured Reserved including their premiere running back (Ryan Grant) who went down in week 1. All 6 loses were by a total combined 20 points with 2 of the losses in overtime. Despite being a 6th seed wildcard their record does not fully paint the picture. Being a Die hard Packer fan I hope they can continue the momentum and take out Big Ben and the Steelrs for the big prize and bring the Lombardi trophy back to Green Bay where it belongs.

I watched both games and think half of the Packers are going to be dead or hospitalized before it's over. The Steelers had an intensity and aggression the Packers just don't show. Rodgers will run *once*. If he survives he won't do it again. The Steeler running backs will be putting Packer defenders in the hospital each series. Just an opinion - oh and I was born in Milwaukee and my middle name is after Vince Lombardi.

As a Bears fan, I had bad feelings when the Bears didn't beat the Packers in their last regular season meeting.

It will be interesting to see if Lovie Smith keeps his job, as this is his contract year.

Our Superbowl Pool . . . no money is involved . . . it will just give those of us (like myself) who may not be in an office pool a chance to root for certain scores. I gave the five previous posters 4 squares each, I gave myself three squares and one each to our administrators. Numbers were generated after all of the boxes were filled in by rolling d10s. Only the "ones" digits count . . . so "0" includes scores of "10", "20", "30", etc. Each box has two scores for each team. Thus, taking Harry's square (8 & 0 for Pittsburg; 3 & 6 for Green Bay) would, for example win if Pittsburg won by a score of 28-23 (and no, that isn't a prediction). So, with luck, here's our "fun pool": -- Jeff

Good Luck, Aaron. The picture in your back yard looks like the 15 inches of snow we got in Peoria.

And the winner of our "Superbowl Pool" is . . . fastgit.
(unfortunately he doesn't win any money . . . or anything else . . . but then none of the rest of us LOST anything either . . . so I guess that we semi-won as well.)
Congratulations to Green Bay for their 31-25 victory over the Pittsburgh Steeleers.

Sometimes we get what we paid for, fastgit . . . remind me again, how much did it cost you to join that pool?
Well, besides the "honor" of having won, you get what you paid for. . . . and if Green Bay hadn't kicked that last field goal, I would have been the winner . . . oh, well . . . I got what I paid for I guess.
