I'm only guessing, but think wet navy and the restrictions because of super structure. In space, if those thing aren't in the way, then why couldn't turrets shoot 360? Well, I figure that the reason there are no 360 turrets is a game-balance thing. just like the fact there are no aft hardpoints... although it wouldn't be hard to extrapolate the price for a 4 arc turret based on what you pay for 2 and 3 arc turrets. I was just thinking that under a strict interpretation of the rules, you aughta be able to get F/side/A turrets on the front hardpoints.

360 turrets were not included because then everybody just buys 360 turrets all the time.
The forward arc not having F/S/A and F/P/A arcs is indeed a wet navy carryover that actually matches up quite well to most of the miniatures out there.

So were both right, no 360 and no F/P/A type acrs because of wet navy.

Yep.
The reason its probably ambiguous is because it was a late addition. I might try and clean it up a little when we make an update.

I do like that there aren't any 360 turrets. If you decide to included them, I would suggest they be only for small weapons systems and that missiles be included.
My reason for missiles is they are placed with a facing and then get a free turn before moving. That placement is important to their direction of travel, and I know I carefully place them to begin with as I would assume everyone else does. Yes they have they own guidance system, but you still need to place them correctly to begin with, this could be the turrets job.
But, as I said, I don't want 360 turrets and missile work well as is.
