ISD main batteries are twin mounts, right? Did I also read that they carry concussion missile launchers? Or was that old designs. Whats the real difference between an Imperator I and II? Or is there an official one? Was it just something made up to distinguish between different models used in the movies?

The answers- Only Victory-I class SDs have the concussion missiles, but they aren't really analogous to ASGMs. The Imperator-II supposedly has more or better weapons, but for a non-EU answer, I'd go with just made up. Their guns are usually depicted as twin mounts, but the source material tends to be a bit iffy on giving real numbers of the 'movie' star destroyers.

I think that's because each movie did things a little differently acording to what the movie needed therefore, it is hard to say what is/was a normal weapons fit. I think we should look at a standard design and then two or three refits or up-grades to these ships. Or maybe a standard ship with leftover mass that could be used how the player wants to. So each ship would have size, weight, main guns and fighters in common and then could add addtional weapons systems. After all they are the main ship, so could be different acording to their mission.

ISD main batteries are twin mounts, right? Imperial I have 3 dual turbo lasers and one dual ion cannon turret on each side of the superstructure. Very hard to find a picture of this one but luckily I'd already done the research a rather long time ago! PictureImperial II have 4 quad turbo laser turrets which are in sunken barbettes rather than mounted on the surface. PictureYou got it. A second, much larger, studio model was made to make the ISD look better. The two are pretty different models with the second having quite a massive re-work on the armaments (which is of course what everyone focuses on). Not sure if its an official thing, depends on what you count as official with the star wars universe I guess! The official star wars website mentions the Imperial II in an EU section, so I guess that's semi-official.

Robert Yep. In Star Wars, Turbolasers, rather than solid weapons or missiles are the dominant heavy killing weapons of space combat I'd be tempted to use (Heavy) Disruptors to represent them over what the game labels Turbo Lasers, much as I did for my statting of the original series Galactica. Ship mounted torpedoes should probably use the regular torpedo weapon rules (though fusions require too much of a mass investment to represent the giant stacks of weapons Star Wars ships carry), while attack fighters and bombers should just use the bomber rules we have right now. If we were, say, doing a Wing Commander conversion, then hell yes we'd need special torpedo attack rules.

much as I did for my statting of the original series Galactica. Did you publish any of those stats for the original series? I'd love to hear your ideas...
