I've just gotten back from Texicon in Fort Worth - I ran both Close Action and PMG Ancients. Bayou Wars - Running Close Action. Skirmish (Plano, TX) - Running Close Action. KingCon (Fort Worth) - Running Close Action. MillenniumCon (Austin) - Running Close Action. I think I'm seeing a pattern. Perhaps my rut has been dug and I need to expand to run some CB at these cons as well.

I feel running some CB games is just what the Dr ordered.

I was planning on Nashcon, but work cancelled my vacation time. Running an I Ain't Been Shot Mum WW2 game at Historicon.

Unfortunately, can't even make it to GenCon. Tragic. But. . maybe this fall I'll be able to start going to cons again. . .
Have fun on your cruise! Went on my first one last September. . . it was AMAZING! If you have the chance to go yacht racing. . . do it. Its in my top three "fun activities". . . that, and shooting machine guns in Vegas.

My wife and I love cruising, we've been on two Alaskan, one East Coast up into Canada, two from the Mediterranean up and around to Germany, and three Atlantic crossings. We are going to Sweden in August and taking the Queen Mary II back, no jet lag. ;D
However, this is about conventions not crusing.
Does anyone ever make it down to Bayou Wars in New Orleans? It is June 10-12 this year.
I screwed up my Historicon trip again this year, that is two years in a row. I have a booth at Historicon as Portsmouth Miniatures each year. Hopefully I'll get to see some of you next year there.

I have just managed to get to Origins, starting tomorrow afternoon. I haven't brought my SDG materials, but I do have some space gaming stuff to playtest, if anyone else is also at Origins.

This is a bit late but I just got back from running my SAVO Island Game at Origins twice. Both games were well attended. The Allies won a crushing defeat in the first game and the Japanese won the second game with ease.
At this point: I plan on running this Scenario at two more cons this year. Rock-Con in Rockford Illinois and Nav-Con in Milwaukee Wisconsin. Both are in the Fall.

Well, as luck as it...I'm going to Historicon after all. It is a last minute thing and I'll be there for the four days more or less. I'll let you know if I see anything interesting.
