Never being satisfied... 
So we play tested with the new Strike Fighter damage see (CB House Rules) and although the damage which was inflicted did do what we wanted something else popped up. Too many bits and pieces on the game board.
Two players: either 1500 or 2000 points.
Five to Eight escorts/capital ships per side.
Game turn three or four there were just over one hundred bits and pieces on the game board. Thus it was taking over one hour to complete a single game turn. This effect made us sad.
Thus we are looking to limit the total number of items which have the ability to change direction during the movement phase. Grape just goes eight and does some damage, no chess like thinking about each piece ... turn left or go straight ... am I covered ... time marches by fast and finally 30 to 45 minutes later player one has finished their movement.
