Can anyone send me the PDF of the ships data cards? I bought the printed rules at a garage sale thinking that the cards were included as well, but for some reason they were missing. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks! Well I’m guessing you didn’t pay more than a dollar or two for those rules at a garage sale. You’d pay that to print the rules if you bought them through proper channels. Your best bet is just to go ahead and buy the rules through Wargamevault and get not just the data cards but also the data card printing tool that makes it much easier to print the cards you need. It also is updated with the latest errata. You’re just ahead of the game on getting a copy printed.

Yeah I checked, they are not registered members. It’s a flaw in the forum software that is allowing it to happen.

Might have used different sources. I used Conways All the World’s Fighting Ships as my source, which is pretty authoritative. Other games might have used a contemporary Jane’s. Which is not. But anything is possible. If you think it needs to be different, change it.

Just cleaned up some more. Definitely fake users not hacked accounts. Annoying. I hate to lock down membership but I might have to.

Yeah i just deleted a couple more spam posts. I might need to delete the users. I didn’t think to check and see what their posting track record was to determine if they were real or not.

Thanks for the reply. I looked at both the book and the spreadsheet, they are both AV8 for the Petropavlosks. It just seems a low value compared to AC’s which have higher AV’s when I check the actual armour thickness and type. Fuji’s Seems low as well. It must have had some thinner armor somewhere that brought down the overall value.

Did you look in the Excel ship card printing tool, or just the book? The printing tool has some corrected armor values in it. That might have been one of them.

Some of us in eastern WI are starting up a Great Pacific War themed mini campaign. Since we don't have inter-war ship sheets which would be closest for the early 1930s, WWI or WWII? Looking to avoid a big technological threshold. Thanks for any input. First game, off the Philippines is next month. Michael I would recommend the WWII game. The WWI game is definitely focused around WWI.

I’d recommend the half flotilla approach. Full flotillas is too much firepower for a single unit.

I don’t have the rules in front of me, but yes, that sounds correct.

Please buy the game or do not. But stop asking people for illegal copies. I’ve explained over email that Wargamevault is our only distributor and the copies you bought on EBay were unauthorized.
The Exce files are “free” only as a bonus to customers who have legitimately purchased the game, in that, unlike other systems, we’re not going to charge you extra for a supplemental electronic play aid.

Take your naval warfare to the next level with Naval Thunder: The Atlantic Campaign! Finally! A way to enjoy a naval campaign game without boring administration or complex record keeping! This book provides a complete set of rules for running a campaign game covering the critical early phases of the naval war in the Atlantic during World War II. The rules introduce a revolutionary chained event system where the choices and outcomes of earlier events and battles influence the events that may occur, and the options you have later. No two campaigns play out the same way, providing infinite replayability. The rules are set up to put you in control of the critical strategic choices that must be made within an ever changing environment of limited information and events that may be outside your control. But the focus stays centered on the action on the tabletop as you battle it out with your opponent! Realistic strategic concerns create historical choices for the commanders. "Should I prolong the fight to finish off these enemy ships, knowing that enemy battleships might be heading this way? Or should I play it safe, take what I've achieved and get out before they show up?" Victory conditions ensure that players must make realistic choices about trade-offs between achieving objectives and preserving your forces, just as the historical commanders had to. Fighting to the last shell is rarely the best option. Launch raiding sorties, deploy forces to counter your enemy’s plans, evade U-Boats, or strangle the enemy’s supply lines. The choices are yours! Can you anticipate your opponent, or will you be caught scraping together scratch task-forces, to counter an unexpected threat? The strategic choices are complex, but the record keeping is simple and easy thanks to the chained event system and campaign tracking guide. Also included are a slew of crunchy new rules including: - 12 new data cards for ships never before seen in Naval Thunder - Sea State Effects rules - Rules for incorporating U-Boats into the campaign - Orders of Battle for the Royal Navy & her allies, as well as the German forces.
. . and much more!
Naval Thunder: The Atlantic campaign is for two or more players, and can be played with or without a referee. Naval Thunder: Battleship Row and Naval Thunder: Bitter Rivals are required for play. Get it from Wargamevault at the link below: Naval Thunder: The Atlantic Campaign

Yes, The Atlantic Campaign is the first in what will be a (hopefully) Long series of campaign books.
The Atlantic Campaign 2 covering later in the war is already being worked on. The Pacific Campaign is on the drawing board.
A Naval Thunder Quarterly publication has also been talked about. Exciting times!
