So if I have 2 screening ships within 2 inches of a BC and the BC is being attacked by fighters, do I add 1 or 2 PD to the BC?
Weve been playing it as 2 (each screening ship lends a dice) but cant find a reference either way in the book.

Yep 2. That's why I was concerned about giving the screen role to DD's. It would be possible to spam them for huge PD.
But most people seem to be finding missiles fairly lethal, so I think a few extra PD dice might be ok. Especially since we have a limit on the CLs/DDs you can take anyway.

Yeah, I think thats feels right. Plus, (as someone mentioned last week), it could create the need for a light ship killer...more ships for me to design...yippee!!!!

Oh wow, really? We missed that. I swore I saw somewhere in the rules that it wasnt cumulative with multiple ships, but looking back now, I dont see that. That really increases the stock of Screens a bit and yeah, piles of missiles can easily snuff even the largest ships so I dont think it would be a problem if high-tech DDs could do it. As I said in the other thread, there is a real cost for doing so in your DDs. Ok, so just to make sure we are doing missile resolution right: During the missile movement step, all missiles move, then all missiles resolve their attack, right? Each stack does not resolve independently, correct? Example, I have 2 stacks of 4 missiles on track to hit an enemy BC. During the Missile Movement Phase, they both move to hit the BC. After they have moved, I resolve a stack of 8 missiles vs the BC's PD (with bonuses from any Screens). That feels correct to me, but I want to be sure. Thanks!
