I'm in the process of reviewing the aircraft rules, and I noticed what might be an omission.
The Allocate Strike Fighters section says:
Yet in the CAP vs Bombers section, no mention is made of a target number for CAP to attack strafing fighters. Are strafing fighters supposed to have a TN, or are they assumed to be flying fast enough to prevent CAP interception?
(Of course, this assumes a force has sufficient CAP in excess of escorts to spread CAP beyond the various bombers that pose a greater threat to the fleet, but the omission seemed significant.)

That would be handled under the dogfight rules.
