Not sure of the easiest way to display the designs, but here is a copy/paste of 3 of the designs I have for a 'Darlok'-style faction. This faction was created to try using a high level of Quantum Manipulation and purposely lower Orbital Manufacturing. The intention was to use a 'hi-tech swarm' with these guys. All of our current factions are TL15.
To that end, the faction includes a number of small Flagships and CAs to increase the number of escort class ships they can have present. All of the DDs (none presented here) are Scout/Stealth so the intention was to bring the 'requireds' and still have room for about 6 Stealth DDs which could jump in and wreck the rear shields/hull of just about anything (give the right scatter dice of course).
The ships below are 3 classes intended to swarm and snipe.
A task force that I have played using these designs for 1500 points:
2x Succubus BCs 2x Shadow CAs 3x Banshee CLs.
This gives 7 hulls to try and minimize the loss of firepower from any one or two ships getting destroyed. All of the Darklok ships are lightly armored, but more heavily shielded and/or armed for their size.
An alternative fleet that I have tried subs out the 2 CAs for 3 heavily armed Stealth DDs, but the one listed above can more easily win a 'conventional' battle without the need tor rely on good scatter dice to come up.

The 2nd set of designs is from my People's Holy Republic faction and is the Task Force I used in the AAR vs the Robians
The Task Force consisted of the following ships:
1x BCB Justice 1x BCF Archangel 1x CAB Vengeance 1x CAR Genesis
The AAR provides the specifics of the battle, but the goal of this Faction is to use large ballistics on smaller BC hulls (again, so as to still have the ability to fire first, but not to concentrate all of the firepower in a single hull that can be crippled or destroyed in a single unfortunate volley)
Armor and shielding on PHR ships is solid, if not remarkable with all Line ships having armor that cannot be penetrated by d6 weapons. Firepower reliese more on Ballistics with missile support and some Fighters present on various designs.

My current faction, The Kingdom of the Misty Squirrel. My CLRs are always mass 90 because you get more PD/t that way... but so far they have died any time anyone has looked at them sidesways... so I might make a bigger CLR with my next strategy point. In general, these ships are a little heavy on anti-hull weapons because I'm fighting a faction with Laser tech 1, so they have weak shields. And Im using so many disruptors because (using random rolled techs) I didn't actually get *any* heavy weapons except Plasma Torpedoes.. which I don't want to use on non-RDF ships. Attachments:
