The Italian 12" guns on the ship cards have ranges of: SHORT RANGE = 12 MEDIUM RANGE = 24 LONG RANGE = 26 Is this correct for long range or should it be 36". It appears this way on the cards for Dante Alighieri, Conti di Cavour, and Andrea Doria.

Yes, that should be 36. Good catch.

How about the penetration value, really that bad? Do you mean on some of the French ships? I noticed some of the 12" guns had different pens and damage values. I don't mind if they are supposed to be 5 or what every they are but my buddy has an issue with it.

It just seems that the French 12" guns on the Danton and Coubert class of "semi-dreadnaughts" are 5s, but Italian, American, Austro-Hungarian, etc. 12" guns are 9s. No AP available, just HE or Common? Thanks.

Ps. Just did a small Mediterranean fight yesterday. Will get an AAR written up soon.

Its more likely just a typo. All the WWI and earlier stats are done to a simplified level of detail based on gun size - since the system was designed to support much larger fleet engagements. So for pre-dreads the French guns ought to be consistent with the others.
When I did the WWII version, with its generally smaller number of ships involved, I dived into the minutia of the performance numbers of specific models of gun.
