Right now I am playing the 2nd game of naval thunder. The first game was a what if of ww2 french vs brits game. The brits had their butts handed to them very badly. A couple of brit battleships had up to 5 fire con hits. Lost two battleships, some cruisers and a couple of destroers.
The 2nd game is what if us vs japs night battle right now run by one of the board regulars on here named mike. Pics will posted later when I can post links to the pics from the con this weekend. At least one one game later tonight of naval thunder.

Sorry, had to tree different posts for links to all the pics that I posted thought out the day. I played two games of neval thunder. One game was frend vs brits what if? The french pasted the brits badly, never saw that many fire control hits on ships before. The tree brit battleships could not hit the barn standing next to it. One ship had five fire control hits before she sank. The next game was japs vs usa wwii, both games where wwii. The japs started with 10 ships....tree slunk off into the night. We where using a star shell setup which slowed the game down and was kinda annoying. The game was run by one ofvthe board regulars. I think his name was mike..I just remember him as the sheep guy since he raises sheep out by rockford. The first game was run by a non board member and it was fun. He later ran a 6000 scale game but I dont know anything about it. I sat in a talk about the history of the anti air guns which was really cool. Could not finish the panel which I had to leave with 30 mits left in it....it went to 2 and 1/2hours and was very cool to hear about. As for the con, its naval bases games only, everything from aircombat overwater to hunting subs with wwi planes, civil war action, sailing ships, lots of wwii games in sometype. Booard games of naval games, an flea market, one vender selling things, a few panels thought the day about different things. This year the con was friday noght from 6 to 12, sat 8 to 12, and sunday from 8 to 5. I only attanded on sat this year. Its a nice little con though and the only type of this idea around the world. Getting in for the weekend was $12. Can not beat that price at all anywhere.

It was very cool and the con really is worth coming to if you really are into naval gaming at all.
