I just bought Battleship Rows and Bitter Rivals, and I'm surprised to see that none of the historical scenarios provided include an air component (CV or land-based). Is there a place where I can find additional scenarios including airplanes?

The problem is, the majority of scenarios involving an air component were pretty much one-sided air vs. ships, or just air-vs-air. Despite what some other systems out there would have you believe, there just weren't a whole lot of instances where battleships were duking it out while overhead fighters and torpedo bombers were tearing at each other. That's why Naval Thunder is set up to resolve air combat prior to the start of the surface action. Its actually the more realistic way to play it. But some folks, even those who are normally sticklers about historical accuracy, seem to want swarms of airplane models on the table while surface ships are engaging each other with gunfire. Here's one of the few air/surface combined engagements that occur to me: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_off_SamarIf you want to include an additional air component, you can game the air strike on the Japanese fleet the night before. Its not much of a fair fight though. LOL

Thanks for your quick feedback!
I'm actually not looking for a way to include the aircraft during the engagement. I'm interested in playing historical scenarios where the abstracted pre-engagement air-surface combat described in your rules takes place, but apparently none of the scenarios provided includes that. Is there any scenario repository online that expands the scenarios that come with the game, actually?
There's another naval game I own (No Safe Port) which comes with a lot of scenarios. I prefer the rules of Naval Thunder, though. Maybe it would make sense to adapt these scenarios to Naval Thunder? I'll have to take a look.
Pacific Scenarios: Java Sea (Feb 27th, 1942) Coral Sea (May 7-8th, 1942) Midway (June 4th, 1942) Savo Island (Aug 9th, 1942) Cape Esperance (Oct 11th, 1942) First Guadalcanal (Nov 13th, 1942) Second Guadalcanal (Nov 14-15th, 1942) Tassafaronga (Nov 30th, 1942) Second Kula Gulf (Jul 6th, 1943) Suriago Strait (Oct 24-25th, 1944)
Atlantic Scenarios: River Plate (Dec 13th, 1939) First Narvik (April 10th, 1940) Second Narvik (April 13th, 1940) Dunkirk (May 30th, 1940) [Hypothetical] Denmark Straits (May 24th, 1941) Breakout (Aug 13th, 1942) [Hypothetical] Casablanca (Nov 8th, 1943)
Mediterranean Scenarios: Point Stilo (Jul 9th, 1940) Convoy Defense (Jan 6-11th, 1941) [Hypothetical] Cape Matapan (Mar 28th, 1941) Cape Spartivento (Nov 9th, 1941)
Arctic Scenarios: Convoy PQ-17 (Jul 5th, 1942) [Hypothetical] Barents Sea (Dec 31st, 1942) North Cape (Dec 26th, 1943)

Quite a few of those are included in one or the other of the Naval Thunder books. The rest should be easy enough to adapt just from the Order of Battle.

Yes, there's significant overlapping. By the way, you didn't answer my question about a "scenario repository online that expands the scenarios that come with the game". I suppose this means there isn't any?

There's the Scenarios board up above. It's not specific to system as it seemed low-traffic enough that one board could be used for all, but maybe I'll split it out.
