So we're on the verge of having all the updates you guys suggested done. Finishing up the PDF files, as well as putting together the print editions, so you guys will be able to have pretty hard copies if you want them.
I'm doing a final review today, and waiting on Ken for a couple tweaks to the Colonial Shipyard. Want to have it all done by the end of next week at the very latest. Hopefully sooner.
Thanks to everyone who participated in our lively discussion, Unclejoe, Warchariot, Jester, kashre, theOz, Rifleman III just to name a handful off the top of my head. . . there were many others. . .
All of you have helped refine the first version of the Colonial Battlefleet rules and IMNSHO have made it undoubtedly the best starship game on the market. Thanks guys!
Stick around though. Now that we've gotten the core rules tweaked and locked down, there's plenty still to come. The Fox/Ravenstar fleet book is progressing nicely and we're hoping for late August/Early Sept.
As an aside: Anybody got an idea for a good name for that fleetbook other than Colonial Battlefleet: Ravenstar Studios/Fox Miniatures.
It needs to convey the miniatures lines it's associated with, not make any reference to IP that we do not have the rights to, and tell people who may not be familiar with the miniatures a little bit about the setting? Any ideas??
If any of you are going to GenCon, hopefully you are signed up for one of my games. If you'd like to play but there are no seats left, (and there are none, everything is booked) just bring some generics. I can usually count on at least 1 no-show per session.
Even if you don't have time to play, stop by and say hi. Love to put some names to faces.
