Hi, With the release of Naval Thunder : The Atlantic Campaign, my immediate thought was, that's great, but I play the Pacific Theatre. So.... I'm curious if there are any plans for a Pacific Campaign rulebook?

Yes, The Atlantic Campaign is the first in what will be a (hopefully) Long series of campaign books.
The Atlantic Campaign 2 covering later in the war is already being worked on. The Pacific Campaign is on the drawing board.
A Naval Thunder Quarterly publication has also been talked about. Exciting times!

A Naval Thunder Quarterly publication has also been talked about. Exciting times! That'd be awesome. Optional rules, scenarios, and new ships I guess would be a big part of that product. About how many pages would it be theoretically?

Not yet. The guys have been super busy. I think they are looking at a WWI campaign first currently.

Glad to hear there is interest in the Pacific. We have kicked around the idea of starting with a Southwest Pacific campaign covering December 1941 to April 1942. Our initial concept is a campaign system significantly easier to play than The Atlantic Campaign (TAC). It would be basically a series of linked scenarios with variable orders of battle.
Does this sound interesting to Pacific players?
By the way, we are also working on a World War One "Hunt for Graf Spee's Squadron" campaign as well as Atlantic II. Both are being designed with a much easier campaign system than TAC.

Craig and I have a Pacific mini-campaign, set in the Southwest Pacific in late 1941/early 1942 in playtest mode. If you would like to assist with playtesting drop me a note at navalwarr@aol.com. We'll post an after action report soon.

I didn't intend for this to become a duel to the last ship. Your torpedo crews really earned their pay at the end and gun accuracy at the end was outstanding..

Has there been any progress on this of late? I’m slowly building ships and this campaign has a certain appeal.
