A few inconsistancies in the 2.0 Rules

Hi folks,

I saw that the 2.0 Rules and Shipyard have been released. I've pretty much been playing a house-ruled version of Battlefleet at this point, but I downloaded the new stuff and I appreciate all the changes that went into it. I like the change to Defender as well although I havent had time to test it.

I just wanted to point a few possible typos/inconsistancies for possible correction in any further updates:

• Both Weapon Master Lists still list the Gatling Autocannon as doing 4 Hull Damage. The spreadsheet has the updated value of 3 correctly
  
  
• The Flagship Role section still lists +2 as the bonus. Again, the spreadsheet lists it properly at +3.
  
  
• The standard Fighter table lists Strike Fighter with 3 damage although the rules for Fighters and Tech Levels still mention 2 as the base damage going to 3 with the Heavy Strike Fighters.
  
  
• The Hull Types and Roles table doesnt list Screen as available for DDs although it is available at Laser Tech 5.
  
  

I thought there was one more, but I can't recall it now. I'll update this list if I run across it again.

In any case, great job on the revision. I think the game has moved forward considerably since the release version. I haven't been providing any feedback since I'm playing with differing rules and therefore I feel like my input would be invalid, but I'm still checking the forums from time to time and seeing what other people think.

Still looking forward to the upcoming Campaign Rules!

Thanks. We needed to make a small tweak to the rules for printing in the hard copies anyway. I'll make sure this stuff gets fixed.

Personally I'd still be most interested in what you've been doing with the rules. This isn't a forum for "official rules only." I encourage people to house rule to make the game what they want it to be. . . I'm sure there are many others on here that would appreciate hearing about it.

In fact. . . I think I'll create a board specifically for house rules discussion.
