Hey all, just recently purchased this promising-looking system off of Wargame Vault an hour or so ago. However, before I can begin designing and playing, there is a small problem: I can't.
When I attempt to use the download links, it opens up a new browser-window titled "watermark.index.somecodehere.etc.etc.etc" but is blank, and no download occurs.
I would be more than willing to post some screenshots for verification purposes, but was wondering if the people in charge could try re-uploading or something, as the error was not in the FAQ or Troubleshooting sections.
I also reported the error with Wargame Vault, but it is more likely that I would get a quick response on these (seemingly-friendly) forums.
Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.
I look forward to becoming a contributing member to this society once this issue is resolved.
Thanks.

Check the top of your browser for an information bar that says click here. I had to right click and give it permission to download when I did all the versions of NT.

Check the top of your browser for an information bar that says click here. I had to right click and give it permission to download when I did all the versions of NT. HTH, I have tried clicking the links with Firefox, Chrome, and even Internet Explorer, and there has been no tab like that or anything. It just opens up a small window that is totally blank. It is almost like the link isn't functional as a download link, but rather as a redirection link to some blank webpage. I will attach a screenshot:

OK, sorry I guess you will have to wait for someone wiser than I with CPU stuff.

OK, sorry I guess you will have to wait for someone wiser than I with CPU stuff. No problem, I really appreciate the effort. EDIT: It doesn't work on the Mac that I tried, or a different PC running 7 instead of Vista. Pretty sure it is an issue with the way Wargame Vault linked or with how you guys uploaded. Could you email me different links or the book itself? If that screen isn't good enough proof that I bought it, I can take a few different ones.

Try sending a message to The Dreadnaought. He is the creator and I am sure will be able to help.
Good luck!

I just ordered mine and had this very same issue. But worry not, it's not your machine! Go to rpg.drivethrustuff.com/ and login using your wargamevault credentials, go to 'my account' and try downloading, it will work. I realized that when I was on wargamevault I saw my previous purchases from drivethru, then when I couldn't download I went back to drivethru and saw my CBF stuff I just ordered! Downloaded successfully!

Oh, other note, none of my other orders would download from wargamevault, not just the CBF stuff. But everything worked at drivethru

Sorry you are having some problems. Just as something to consider, might be a problem with your firewall settings. Had a good friend of mine who couldn't download it from hims home machine at all, but then went to work and it worked perfectly.
If Valthonis' work around (thanks Valthonis!) doesn't work, please contact wargamevault support. They are normally pretty responsive and should get back to you quickly.

Alright.
Appreciate the help, guys.
The Drivethru workaround worked beautifully.
I look forward to participating.
Thanks so much!
