Cool, you certainly believe in jumping in at the deep end. Yes movement is high compared to weapon range, it helps to make manuver so much more important and interesting.

Nice report, too bad you had to stop at turn two. A normal game for us goes about six turns with each turn going quicker as you eliminate each other's ships. Missiles are great if you have a fair number and shoot them at range, meaning long, long range-first turn. They work best if they run for awhile.
