brigman & shellback. No I do not attend Kubla Con I do Civil War Living History at Roaring Camp in Felton. I do Naval living history. I am actually going to run 2 of my Ironclad models in the pond up there. CSS Arbermarle & USS Monitor. both are 1/35th scale. I am also going to be able to run Civil War naval games like the new board game Iron & Oak. I will be attending Pacific Con. On Friday of that Con at 6 pm I am running a Pre-Dreadnaught game. It will not be Naval Thunder as I am just looking into getting these rules. I am also thinking of doing another Pre-Dread game on that Monday of that Con. This one is in and around San Francisco. About 1907-08. It is based on 1901 book written by Robert Conroy. If you can make to that Con on Labor Day weekend we can hook up. Or even sooner. I have 2 weekends in June wife will be gone. ;D Maybe I should not that.

Hi guys! Just wanted to update my locale. I've moved from San Diego to Dayton, Ohio (near Wright-Patterson AFB) and looking for nearby naval gamers. I enjoy long walks in the woods, thunder storms and Naval Warfare: WW1/2, ACW, modern. I also play Axis and Allies War at Sea (WaS) on a regular basis, but have played Command at Sea/III, GQII, Victory at Sea (VaS), SeaTac, Harpoon, and a few others I forget names. I have a good number of 1/2400 ships, 1/700 aircraft and, of course, WaS 1/1800 and 1/900 minis!

Hello, Had a Demo of Naval Thunder about a Week ago, got sick shortly after so I bought the rules for WW2 and haven't really stopped thinking about it since. I have always wanted a good naval game system. Going British.... as with all my WW2 stuff *Shrugs*
I am From Orono Maine USA.
Used to live in New Hampshire, so am some what willing to drive down there, and know of Addler Hobby as well.

This idea has worked well in another forum where I am a member, so I thought we could try it here if no one objects. If interested simply post State/country and city. Every so often I will update the list in this post so that players can possibly find others in their area via PM. I have met other players in my area this way. I think most gamers are willing to drive a little ways for a good game. Also, if you know of a CON it is a nice way to let others in commuting distance know. New here and looking to get into WWII naval. My main interest is the North African Campaign and how the actions in the Mediterranean influenced it. At this point I am looking for opponents in my area or within travelling distance to teach me the game.
I am in the Greater Toronto Area.
