For my Man vs. Machine games I was thinking of making a "4" a critical hit on the FTL. This would prevent a ship from jumping (and would reset the accumulation of FTL die rolls to zero).
Any subsequent hit on a damaged FTL would result in no effect.
Repair as normal, of course.

Both Bridge/Engine crits have the no course or speed change restriction, and the Bridge crit has the additional restriction on FC points.
So, it would make sense that the Engine crit would have the additional restriction on the FTL (and warp generators?)

Yeah, pretty sure that was supposed to be in there, just didn't make it into the final version. Its always chaos just before publication. I'll add it to the next update and the errata in the meantime.
