Here's a thread for collecting things that people notice errata-wise in the rules. We try to be pretty thorough, but inevitably some things will slip through.
Other than a couple or three typos - the only rules question I've heard had to do with point defense dice.
-- All point defense dice are d10s.
We called that out clearly at one point. Must have gotten lost when we were reorganizing some of the rules. This and other errata will be fixed when we do our first update to the rules.

How will this errata be made available, other than here?

Well we probably will be updating the files before too long. Then everybody who bought them will get an email saying they've been updated, and what the changes were, and they can download the new ones for free. Not sure if people who opt out of emails from WGV will get it though. So hopefully they'll visit the forums or the web page once in a while where we'll make the announcement.
So for we've only got the 1 rules-related change. If you find any more (rules related or not) please post them here!

It took me awhile, but I finally figured out that AV under defense, means armor value. Right?

LOL, yeah.
Hmmm. . . looking through the rules I see it doesn't look like we specifically call that out anywhere. I'll make a note to do that.

It might be worth it to go over each of these in the front of the rules where you discuss the record sheet. So you would tell what each abbreviation means under each section.

Question, is there away to have a ship be a flag ship and say a carrier? I'm asking because of BSG batlestars could be both.

Not in the core rules. But new roles like 'Battlecarrier' will be in the Ravenstar/Fox Miniatures fleet book.
But for now if the Cylons don't have flagships either, it works out even.

Yeah, I'm anxious to get that out too. Unfortunately, I've got to get Rise of the Battleship II out first. That shouldn't be too difficult though. You could probably expect to the the Ravenstar/Fox fleet book this fall.

I found a little glutch in the Ecel program, at least for me. When I build a 640 mass ship with ASGM, the template shows the correct number of tubes while the multiple SSD display/print out shows zero. I have tried to rebuild, change the number of tubes up, ect. I still get zero on my print out. Not a big deai as I can write in the correct number however, I thought you would want to know.

Hi Warchariot
was it the second hardpoint on the 3rd SSD? That is a Formula error, referenced the wrong cell in the vlookup, should be 29 not 9. If you can't fix it yourself I will be sending a new version to Harry tonight.

Yep, second hardpoint, 3rd ship on the print out, exactly. I'll try to fix it, thanks.

Hey, if the only restriction on firing arcs is that a turret on a given hard point has to fire through that hard point's arc, shouldn't the forward hard points be able to fire F/P/A and F/S/A? The option is not available on the spreadsheet version that I have.

I'm only guessing, but think wet navy and the restrictions because of super structure. In space, if those thing aren't in the way, then why couldn't turrets shoot 360?
