If you are looking for miniatures, you could try Shapeways. Check out Starship Combat News for a list of some of the stores there doing scifi minis.

The only production range that I can think of covering the ships you wanted was Romando, and they are really hard to find these days. I can't recall any gaming manufacturer specifically selling Feds right now. There's an SCN thread here www.star-ranger.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=26&t=6432 Check out page four, as the Sovereign was on offer and may still be by private message. Shapeways stuff can be a bit variable. Almost everything I've had from them has been fine. I've seen reports of problems, but Shapeways seem to sort them out. I've certainly got some miniatures in my collection now that wouldn't be there if someone on Shapeways hadn't offered them.

Funny you should mention that. Was just thinking about Federation Battlefleet today. . . and where to slot it into the schedule (like we operate on a "schedule" lol). Especially since I just heard that ACTA:ST is being effectively discontinued.

That doesn't suprise me after what they did with Starship Troopers. Release it and then no support.

Anyone who comes up with a Starship Troopers anything, game, comic, novella, pc game, cartoon or movie.....etc and doesn't do their part should be fed to the bugs. Bastards!
Federation battle fleet please? Thanks we like that genre as much as Star Peace and Man vs Machine and Starship Troopers or whatever their proper names are.

I found some of what I need on shape ways I also bought star trek fleet captains board game which has 12 Klingon and 12 federation ships, of extremely mediocre quality and horribly scaled, I want some more Klingons romulans kzinti and hydrants oh and Lyrans as well cardassians wouldn't hurt but I think tng and whyager really broke canon in star trek, whyager in particular suffered from bigger meaner badder more better syndrome.
I think robert the damned's models look great I also think that his ship sizes are too small, but I think that is because the largest size is restricted to 5, too narrow a range...if the largest ship in the genre is a Borg cube at size 5 the defiant would be a negative size and virtually every other ship would be a size 1. Just doesn't seem correct. Larger size hulls are needed, I actually kind of figured a constitution refit class heavy cruiser would be a 4 an excelsior a 5, a Miranda and the D-7 would be a 3, Saladin dd a 2 and a scout bird of prey and the defiant a 1. I would make a Borg cube a 10, galaxy 8, d'deridex 9, sovereign 8, ambassador 7, trek ships are actually far easier to size than most genres cause there is so much source material. Just how I am thinking of doing it since I wanna do a bsg trek crossover scenario, I also kinda think phaser weaponry at least the heavier sorts should do more hull damage, plasma torpedoes I would add a heavier romulan version and a Gatling version of the phaser has a niche as well. I ideally would like the ability todo everything that sfb does but faster easier and in fewer steps with far more ergonomic rules. I do think the shield rules as written are fine, star wars really seems to have rotating shields star trek seems to have shields all round you can bolster, I don't know really since we see stuff that breaks continui and is at odds with other presented material.

Well I got some 1/7000 scale not-Trek ships from Shapeways they are very nicely detailed and seem to be properly scaled. But frak they are small- talk about egg-shells with hammers, so maybe a bit of a rethink on sizing on my part- I was originally just estimating the sizes I would use. At the very least I would reduce the size of all the ships I mentioned by 1 ( except the Borg). The object is still to do a crossover BSG/Trek mini-campaign. Constitution refit size 3, Excelsior size 4, Ambassador and Sovereign size 5, Reliant size 3, Saladin size 2, and I am waiting on Kringons, Rob-u-lans and some more Federales and probably get some Gorp, Tolians too. But the ship models are quite nice wonder if superior technology can make them survivable and a viable threat....
