Looks everyone from our group is busy. If possible, I might be able to make Saturday. Depends on how many flight delays it takes to get home Friday night.

Hey NT'ers!,
Little Wars is a go for Afilter and me. I will be running a Savo Island Game on Friday afternoon and again on Saturday. My events will not be listed in the official program but will be posted on a board. I will assist Aaron in the running of the Prelude to Tsushima eventon friday at 7pm. I am playing in Tsushima on Sat morning. I look forward to seeing a few of you there.
PS- I was lying low because of uncertainty caused by the passing of my father Gilbert J. Bates of Lindenwold, NJ last SAT after a long fight against cancer. My mother is well and has my Brother in NJ for support. memorial services won't be held until latter in April. He was a great guy and greater father. I will miss him very much.

Sorry to hear about your loss. One of our group of wargamers recently lost his father also.
What time is Tsushima Sat. morning and when will you run Savo Island on Saturday?

What time is Tsushima Sat. morning and when will you run Savo Island on Saturday? Tsushima starts at 9am and I believe Savo is at 1pm.

Didn't get to go, due to flight delays and cancellations. Got to Chicago and had to rent a car home. Got home at 2:00 AM Saturday morning.

AAR for SAVO games might take a couple of days to get to. I got baby sheep popping out all over the place! God is great!

So how was it? Did anyone see anything new/interesting? As soon as I get time I will post a recap of Little Wars in general in the Head with pics from the Con. Overall it was a great time. Naval Thunder was well represented. Mike ran his Savo scenario Friday afternoon and Saturday afternoon. I only saw the Saturday rendition, but it was well received. I showed up Friday PM in time to run a Prelude to Tsushima event which also went well. Saturday AM Mike and I both participated as players in the Tsushima event with Dave Himm (Battlefield Hobies) using his 1/1000 Houston Models. It was only the AC and Battleship fight. It was a spirited group with some new players, ut we had three vets and the game moved along nicely. Even though the OOB was reduced it still took all of 4 hours with a couple of short breaks. I would bring up who received the best player award for Tsushima, but it is kind of a sore spot with Mike. I have not done alot of Cons in the past, so I thought it was pretty impressive. More to come.....

No sore spots anywhere just sore feet! Four NT games meant a whole lot of standing. Aaron you deserved the honor of best player. Next time my line of coastal battleships will do even better. Although the more I look at them the more I think the russians would have been better off keeping them in the Baltic. LWs NT was a blast. I am working on the AAR's for the SAVO games.

20-25 assuming Mike had different players at each of his two events.

I played in the Saturday afternoon Savo Island battle and had a great time. Thanks to Mike for putting on the event and to Aaron for assisting. You guys inspired me to get painting - and buying more ships (slippery slope...). I got the best player medal in that session for surviving with the Chokai and managing to take out a couple US CAs and DDs.
