The Pantheon ( Pandora in the scenario) moves out from Hanger 18 at the start of the battle. Lt. Robert Tovar gave the start-up command and the ship jumped to life. Lights came up, computers hummed back to life, and the main view screen glowed for a moment just before the shipyard blinked into view before him.
He had been assigned here six months, right out of college ROTC. Robz, as his friends called him, had dreamed of flying Leopards, or being a staff officer aboard one of the Battlecarriers, but no, he was assigned to the fleet reserve dock.
“The island of misfit toys” as the fleet called it, Hanger 18, to those who worked here. His main job, when he wasn’t doing everything else, was to run maintenance and start up checks on each ship so they would be ready if needed. Yea, like that would ever happen. This was the place the fleet send its mistakes, the ship designs that didn’t work out. The ones they wanted to hide from the public, costly errors that would never pay for themselves.
There were 18 of the misfits here when the reserve was at full strength, but some were always out on “patrol” which normally meant in for repairs.
The prides of the yard are the Pandemonium and Pandora, the Pandas as they are affectionately called. They were built as large Battlecarriers 20 years after the Great Cyborg War when the Admiralty could do no wrong. The main feature on these behemoths was a third landing bay and hanger area built on top of the ship. No one thought that the engine wash from the rear and the bridge being in the fight path from the front would be a problem… they were. Time and again fighters would just miss the bridge or have to drive bomb the ship to come in from the stern. Mishaps were common and the ships were sent here to retirement for the reservist to train on. Admiral Blue disagreed however, he envisioned their potential.
Around here, no one questioned Admiral Jeff Blue, the dockyard commander, or why he was so adamant on training the reservist so hard. He was a bear of man despite being at least 70 and had retired and been recalled to duty so many times, no one knew his current status. He was everywhere at once, and you either loved him or hated him, there were no half measures with the admiral.
The aircrews, engineers, and officers resented the round the clock drills and non-stop routine the admiral had them do again and again. After all, wasn’t the idea of being a reservist to play cards and have some laughs on the Colonial Admiralty once a month? Well maybe at other posts, but not at Hanger 18, not as long as Blue Bear was in command.
Tovar was snapped out of his boredom when the Dictator buckled in the middle and then exploded. It took him several moments to register the ASGMs streaking toward the station and the mourned ships.
The silence was suddenly broken as every bell and klaxon was booming out an earsplitting alarm “Cyborg Raid Hanger 18, This is not a Drill!”Let Pandemonium Reign is a new scenario for MvM. See attached file in second post.

Very cool! Where do the fighter stands come from never seen them before and I like them. They are the small hex stands from Litko with a dice tray. Litko makes them for their stands. The toppers are theirs also.

Looks very nice - from a distance. My system can't handle .docx files. Have an older .doc version?

I should also add how much we think alike. In the midst of a similar game here where the Cylons are attacking the Colonial outer planet Pallas, home to a key military research facility and some civilian colonies. It has a supply base overhead and is defended by a strong BSG.

2nd picture, bottom leftmost ship, what is it? It is a Warhound. All the Colonial ships, save the fighters, are Hanger 18 from his BSG lines or Armorclads.

Okay, here are a couple of more pictures I was saving for the report, but it looks like it will be this weekend before I get that poated. This picture shows the othe end of the shipyard with most of the fleet. Up near the fighters and the darker ship that is still docked are two versions of the Ronin class. One as a refeuler (light) and one as a flagship with four small hangers (dark one). Also seen is a second Scimitar, dark ship leaving the dock in the lower right and a Crusader, large ship in the upper middle of the dockyard. Finally, you can see a Romulus turn toward the left side of the picture. Of course you can see both Pandemonims getting up steam. All of these are Hanger 18 models. The small brown Fighter is a new model from Ravenstar's Star 1 collection. Here is a view from the Cyborg flagship, the Haven, a Basilica class.

Thanks so much, I wrote up a report, but it went to Harry for a possible webmag. I didn't think I should post it here until we hear if it will be in the mag or not.

It will be in the mag. But I expect we could post it here a little after it is published. Sometime in the next few weeks I think.
