Hi all! So how do I add the Fusion Torps for the Armored Recon ability to my ship using the Excel spreadsheet?
Also, do I pay for them in addition to the interceptors themselves? If so, how much...7 per interceptor? Thats how much it listed on page 103 of the ammo column.
Thanks!

I asked this same question in the Yahoo group once. The current version of the spreadsheet doesn't have a mechanic for purchasing the torps for your fighters. I just leave X amount of tonnage free to represent the torps I buy, and use the "name" field to put a note about how many torps the ship carries.
You buy them just like you were buying ammo for a launcher, at the same mass the ammo requires (whatever that is). Then each turn any interceptor *squadron* can fire one torp. AFAIK, if you have 10 torps on the carrier that means a single squadron can fire 10 torps if it lives for 10 tunrs, or 10 squadrons can fire a torp each on a single turn. No need to track individual ships with the torps for ease of book keeping I guess.

All correct.
I do actually have an updated version of the Colonial Shipyard that allows you to purchase the torps and also enables building and saving custom factions. I'll try to get it up this week.

Follow up question:
If I have 6 interceptors total and all of them are on the board, but I only have purchased 3 Fusion Torps. Do I need to indicate which Fighters have Torps before they launch or just make that decision when I decide to fire them?
Thanks!

You make the decision when you fire, that way the only recorded keeping is on the main ship. Also, if the ship was destroyed, you would still have the torps, so you would still need to keep track.
