Hi all! 3 quick questions on Grape Shot:
1) If I have multiple (lets say 3) Grape Shot launchers in a hard point, can I place all 3 Grape shot templates in the same hex and then later fire them together?
2) If yes to above (and assuming they are all fired in same direction), do they all move at same time and then all attack the fighters, missiles or ships using 3x the normal dice (or damage if hitting a ship)?
3) What about a ship with Grape Shot in more than one hardpoint (lets say 2 hard points have 1 Grapeshot each). Can these be combined like Missiles?
Thanks!

1. If I understand your question, then the answer is "yes"
2. Yes.
3. Yes - so long as they fire into the same arc. Remember grape shot must be assigned to an arc.
We spent a lot of time fiddling with grape shot. We finally got it to where its an effective shield-stripper, can be very dangerous to fighters, and is definitely a threat to small ships, but doesn't pose much of a problem for larger ships regardless of how much there is - which is what we wanted it to be.

Can I clarify that firing Grape Shot doesnt benefit from the FC of the ship firing it because it "auto-hits", basically, right?
If a Grape Shot is deployed into the hex of an enemy ship before firing, which shield facing does it deplete? Would it be considered from the hex it arrived FROM?

Yes, the shield facing the ship that fired the grapeshot would be the shield that is depleted if the grapeshot is placed in the same hex as a ship when deployed.
