seems like got home from rock con last week and this past monday night waiting to make a left turn into work coming back from a pizza run and got rear ended by a 2004 chevy aveo that did not see me sitting there...sigh....no one was hurt, and a couple of mins later someone else did the same thing about 5 cars back from ours.... the annoying thing is i just bought my truck in july and just put a bunch of work over the last couple of months into it..and it was one of the nicest sets of wheels i have ever owned...sigh... it was a 94 chevy s-10 2wd with a 2inch lift with 31 inch mud tires with a trialer hitch that really ate his car and i ended up dragging his car off the road with the help of a cop to get both cars off the street. had to get a flatbed to tilt the car to drag it from under the back of my truck...sigh.....i at least got to drive my truck home and found out he some how popped a brake line and my brake lights....along with bent the frame which made it a total loss...sigh now i have to find a new daily driver and a new truck to haul my race car next spring.....craigslist here i come....

As long as everyone walks away. First thing I always do with a new truck is install the heaviest trailer hitch I can find, with a 10" extension insert. When the first moron who can't see something that big hits it, they basically impale their car before touching my bumper. When I lived in DC, got rear ended 3 times on the beltway without a scratch. Now if I can just figure out a solution for the idiots who back into the front end...
