Well I've now painted a dozen Pre-Dreadnoughts for the Russo-Japanese War (1904-1905) . . . and posted a couple of photos on my new blog: jeffsnavy.blogspot.com/All of these 1/2400 scale ships are approximately 2" (i.e., 50mm) in length . . . give or take a bit. They are Panzerschiffe resin miniatures, most of which retail for $3 US each. -- Jeff

Great pictures and nice paint job. You can really tell them apart with the pre-war paint jobs.

I should point out that this thread is for others to post photos of their naval ships too . . . but please let us know just what period they are for . . . Pre-dread, WWI, WWII, other.

After GenCon I'll have to get on here and post my fleets.

I'd be very interested to see them all - what periods? And would that include CB?

Nice job again, like the name plate with the flag and role.

jmilesr,
I have two mild suggestions . . . and neither has to do with the ships themselves.
First, you might want to consider a lighter "sea color" so that there is a bit more contrast (thus showing the ships to better advantage) . . . of course if the bases are already painted the color of your playing surface this would be counter-productive.
Second, I would suggest that you consider adding "wakes" to your ships. A lot of vessels aren't that easy for those not knowledgeable to tell the bow from stern.
The ships themselves look very good, sir. Thank you very much for sharing them.

Jeff:
I agree the bases came out too dark and need to be lightened up a good bit.
I will also be adding bow and stern wakes - my first try on the Pennsylvania's base didn't come out that well so I'll be doing a few practice runs to get the technique down.
Thanks for the compliments.
Miles
