Finally resumed my painting today and finished my RJW Russians for the Battle of Yellow Sea. In the process I gave the wire a test run with the masts with much nicer looking results. They are a bit ticky to work with and more delicate in the end, but look better all around. I posted all the new additions in my Russian fleet thread, but here is a smaple: If I were a bit more anal would go back and redo all my other ships. This will be the technique I use from here on out. Still need to try it out for some WWI ships. Hoping to finish the IJN Yellow Sea fleet first so I can give the complete scenario a test run. Thanks again for all the tips.

I run a wire between them as rigging and even down to the bow and stern as a little suppot and extra glue points. Of course I paint those black.
