One of the really fun things about pre-Dreads is that they aren't all "boring gray" . . . especially for the "what if" scenarios when navies are in their "peacetime" colors.

Mrs. Dreadnought always yells at me because I want all my ships painted in variations of boring gray. ;D

Are these links direct from the company, or are they to 1250ships.com?

Used some from the MSM.1250 site, which I thinks links some pics directly to the Neptun website.

Thank you, shigure, some nice images there. Most were Russian Pre-Dreadnoughts by the way.

For those of you interested in Pre-Dread battles Osprey has a book (Duel series) out called "Russian Battleship vs. Japanese Battleship: Yellow Sea 1904-05" written by Robert Forczyk. In the Osprey Essential Histories series there is "The Russo-Japanese War 1904-1905" by Geoffrey Jukes. It covers more of the ground war and political issues. There is some coverage of naval issues.

Shigure,
I already have the Forczyk book on order from Amazon.ca (I'm in Canada). Current price from them is $14.40 Canadian (regular price is $19.95 Canadian). I'm still waiting for it to arrive however.
