I'm new to the rules (Bought them a few weeks ago) and I'm putting together a scenario about the battle of the Falklands.
I'm also thinking of adding a few more heavy combatants on the German side (Blücher and Van Der Tann). However, it has been noted that since German strategic doctrine was aimed at creating a tactical threat to the British Home Fleet in the North Atlantic, German capital ships dedicated less tonnage toward creature comforts than Royal Navy ships.
What would be the best way to represent the fatigue and logistical limitations created by this doctrine? Looking at the rules, I would think that using the crew quality and the missed salvo penalty to simulate this design limitation?
Am I on the right track, or is there something that I missed.

I think you're on the right track, but NT is a simple and fast game. Play a game or two before you get carried away with modification that may not come up in play.

Falklands and Coronel were the first scenarios I ever ran using NT. Turned out great...as mentioned NT is a fun fast system with just the reight amount of difficulty without becoming cumbersome. My 13 and 14 year old boys play with ease.
Have fun!
