Get the rest of them done, come on. Hey, I need to pace myself. Thanks all, I am really happy with the way these are turneing out now. Not quite a Houston Model. but for 1/2400 and the price I am very pleased. I appreciate all the advice I have received here as I would not have though this level of detail would be possible at this scale. IMO, they look even better in person as my camera is just to good and catches every flaw.

Yes, one of the problems with your photos is that we see things far more closely than we ever would on a gaming table.
You are to be congratulated, sir. Your added masts look great!

Once you start down the mast road, there is no turning back.

Mine are no Houstons, but at $3.00-4.00 and my time I will take them. Materials used. .015 wire .039 wire .030 sheet styrene and single hole punch (crows nest) Pin vise drill set Super glue Most importnat alot of patience. I dd all four of the IJN while watching TV inabout 2 hours with dry time and painting tonight.

I was "Making some masts this week and found a glue stick helps hold the cross bar in place, plus I can adjust it some before using the super glue. Just a bit worked well and didn't leave any blobs behind.
