He has a few pictures at his site. I have some 28mm figures from him and met him at Historicon a few years back.

The ships aren't that expensive . . . why not order a few samples from each and see which you like better? -- Jeff So... this I did. Both have now arrived (WTJ = outstanding service, Panzerschiffe = slower, but reasonable) and I'm still stumped. Each line is outstanding: The 1:3000 WTJ ships have an incredible amount of detail for their size (more even than their bigger 1:2400 cousins) and fit my table. And the Panzerschiffe models -- although less detailed -- are still clearly recognizable, yet a little easier on the eyes (they're not, I understand, getting any younger!). It looks like I'll need to do a little more thinking on this... or just collect both lines! Either way, for those looking to jump into this market, you can't go wrong...

Personally I like the ps ships only because they are slightly bigger and when doing WWI mix in with GHQ. I don't mind doing a little modeling.
I have talked to the owner a few times and they seem like great people who have been doing this since the 70s. My only caution is that if you go with ps I would not wait forever to get the fleets you want as I suspect they will retire someday and I am not sure if the business will continue.

Fastgit,
One thing to consider is how much you enjoy painting . . . for some, that is a great joy; for others, a tolerated task. If you are the former, then the WTJ details will delight you; if the latter sort, then the simpler Panzerschiffe sculpting may suit you better.
But as I said earlier in this thread and as you echoed, "you can't make a bad decision", these are both great choices.

The Molniya castings look pretty clean and they seem to paint up very nice. If anyone gets any of these castings let us know how they look when you get them.

Molinya are 1/2400 scale Pre-Dreads . . . and they specialize in those not otherwise available. Their website is here: www.molniyafigs.com/ships.html-- Jeff

You should e-mail him as he hasn't up-dated his site lately (last I checked) which could mean a number of things. I have ordered from him before (figures, not ships) and he had fair service with figs arriving in about three weeks.
