Seeing it's around that time of year again, I would like to take the opportunity to wish everyone (and their respective families) on these boards a wonderful and safe holiday season, and the very best of luck for 2011! I would also like to take the opportunity to wish Harry and Leslie the very best, as it is their work and ideas which makes this forum exist..
I know it's a few hours early (it is the 24th December local time here) but I would like to repeat the words of Frank Borman from 42 years ago, "Good night, good luck, a Merry Christmas, and God bless all of you, all of you on the good Earth"

Merry Christmas to everyone. Hope everyone gets a couple of miniatures to add to their respective fleets for the holidays. ;D
This has been a very active board no longer than it has been in operation. I look forward to all the AARs and pictures of everyone's fleets in the coming year.

While I hope that you all got wonderful Christmas goodies, I fear that I must be a tad of a spoilsport . . .
. . . *sigh* . . . Santa was a Grinch!
He did not leave me a copy of "Rise of the Battleship II" under my tree. All that I got were clothes (needed), books (which I'll enjoy), DVDs (which I'm eager to watch) and some non-naval gaming goodies.
Hey, I guess that Santa wasn't all that cruel to me . . . and maybe RotBII will appear shortly . . . yeah, perhaps that jolly elf/grinch is busy reading my copy and will get it delivered later this coming week . . . well I can hope, can't I?

He did not leave me a copy of "Rise of the Battleship II" under my tree. Hmm... that explains it! I was wondering why Santa thought I was someone called Bluebear...

Oh, you cad, you!
I want it, I want it, I want it! . . . and now you're going to tell me I can't have the one that Santa gave to you, thinking you were me . . . *sigh*.

A cad I am... ...but really. Even though that may be the case... can Santa be wrong? Really?

Well . . . IF you got what was intended for me, AND I DIDN'T GET IT, yes, Santa could be wrong. . . .
. . . So just wait until I get my reindeer hunting license, Mr. Red-Suited Elf. Yeah, just you wait . . . we'll see just how "jolly" you are then.

PS, So, Harry, only YOU can save Santa Claus . . . all you have to do is to get RotBII into my greedy paws.
