Maybe this should be in the Head thread, but I just recieved my copies of Russo-Japanese Naval war 1905 Vol 1 and 2. They are a bit pricey, especially since they are paperback, but they have great ship photos, drawings and maps, lots of maps. The two volumes are 312 pages between them. I notices lots of places have them. Okay, it's B/W, no color inside.

I'm not spotting these on Amazon.ca . . . who is the author?
Also the title says 1905 . . . but do they cover the 1904 battles such as the initial Port Arthur raids, Yellow Sea and Ulsan?

Does "Port Arthur" mean just the fights there? Or does it include Yellow Sea and/or Ulsan? Or are they covered in book two? Or are they not covered?

From Feb 9, 1904-Port Arthur to March 1905 Sandepu and Mukden. Between the two, everything is covered, even small battles.
