So which one is correct? Apparently I made the invalid assumption that if a ship was not represented in the printing tool thay are not yet available. Another member pointed out that some of the ships I have posted here are available in the PDF file. Also if you unhide the prinitng tool you can see a "data" tab which shows some of these ships. Upon close examination I discovered that the PDF does not necessarily agree with the "data" tab in the excel file. Specifically I was looking at USS New York. Can anyone clarify what are the official numbers? Are the PDF Data the ones to go with if they do not show up in the printing tool. Just for clarification I am referring to BR only. On a good note I discovered the stats I came up with are very close either way. It is just confusing and I am wondering what the designers intent is by providing the PDF, but not the printing tool? Also I do not want anyone to waste time posting ships in the shipyard that are already available in an official format that we may just not be aware of. TIA,

See the other thread on the battleship row board. Essentially the designer did not provide the tool. it was created by a volunteer and was so good it was included as a freebie for customers. Ken01 is the keeper of all the tools.

From the other Thread: The pdfs are the official version. The card printing tool was done by a 3rd party volunteer, and has only been spot checked. That said, sometimes the tool has been updated w eratta before the pdfs because it is easier to update. However Ken seems to have been busy as of late. But then so have we all. OK, so if I have this straight PDFs trump card printing tool, but there may be more ships on the card printing tool as it has been updated. If in doubt default to what is on the PDF. Makes sense. Thanks, Again, thanks for clarifying. I for one had not really looked at the PDFs as the card printing tool was so handy.

Hi Guys
Had a chance to look at the BR Printing spreadsheet today, here is what I found and fixed. The updated sheet will be sent to Harry tonight when I get home (can't do it from work)
First, I have added the New York and Wyoming class BB's to the sheet
Next, the Clemson and Wickes classes were both refered to as Flush Deck types and the stats are identical. up to DD180 is the Wickes class and DD181 + is the Clemson class, the sheet has been changed to reflect this.
Next, The Gleaves are part of the Benson-Livermore class and have the same stats (all ships are listed) there is an error on the spreadsheet class info for the Gleaves the aft turrets were listed as one double instead of 2 single and have been fixed.
Next, The Bagley is part of and identical to the Gridley/Craven class and I have added the name to the class name. all ships i can identify are there. There was a mistake in the class data on the spreadsheet (number of torps) which has been fixed.
If you find anything else just let me know.
Ken
(sorry for being away latley but health and work have been keeping me busy lately. I should have the MvM shipbuilder to Harry early next week if all goes well.)

I love the product as it really provides a cleaned finished professional look for the games we run. So once Harry gets these upadtes will they be available for download through wargames vault? Not sure how updates work since this is the first game I have done this way.

Harry, have there been any updates in the past? Just wondering if we get an e-mail or something to notify that an updated version is available. Just want to make sure I have the most current versions. TIA,

go to Wargamevault and log into your account, there is a button to check for updated versions of anything you have purchased. I check it every couple of months just in case.
