So, discovered that I have a problem with one of my ship-data excel files, that is going to require some manual data entry.
I need somebody who has MS Excel, who wouldn't mind doing some rather uninteresting work, copying information from one Excel sheet to another, and verifying the formatting looks good on all the sheets.
Any takers?

Harry, I will be happy to help if it is not overly complex. I have some knowledge with excel as long as it is not building complex formulas. If you can provide more details here or via PM I will let you know if I can meet the bill.

I have a template for the file I that I store the data in. One of my files is in a very similar template, but not quite right. I just need somebody to manually copy the information from one file to the other and then do some cosmetic clean up to makes sure it looks good like the sample. Not hard, if you know anything at all about Excel. Just a little time consuming. But truthfully its not even that big a file, so not even that huge a time commitment I expect.
Looking to have it done in the next couple weeks probably. But no real due date. Just obviously the longer it takes the longer it will take the book to be released. I expect 2 - 3 hours work is involved. Maybe less.

Thanks guys. I figured out that if I don't try and do everything myself, and instead focus on the stuff that really needs me to do, rather than just everything that has to be done, I might be able to speed up the development cycle a little and get things out sooner.
afilter - you seemed like you might have some other things brewing, so BOK I'll send the stuff your way, and if fastgit is ok with it, I'll send you his email address. I'll let the two of you work out how or if to split it up. May or may not be easier just for one person to do it, so I'll let you guys work that out.

Works for me as well. Now I have someone else I can pimp for the release of RotB2. Seriously, if you run into issues don't be afraid to ask.

BOK and fastgit, I would suggest one of you do the work and the other check it. I did the MvM ships and checked them at least three times and had a buddy read back printed copies to me and still some errors slipped through. The more eyes you can put on it, the better. Maybe Aaron would proof read it one last time.

Sounds like a good plan, Larry. I sent what I had done back to Dread for a check to make sure I was doing it correctly. Once I get the rgr from him I'll send it to fastgit and afilter for proof reading.

BOK - The version of your email I got on my phone did not have files attached. I have to go home and double check, but you might want to verify you attached the files to your email if its convenient to do so.
Thanks for your help!
