These are what - if projections if the Hood has survived the Battle of the Denmark Strait, and got the machinery / reconstruction that was desperately needed. Debate and discussion about this ship and it's fate continues to fascinate, even 70 years after the battle. I am using the argument that the tonnage did not change very much, owing to the projected addition of new (lighter) machinery and heavier armour / secondary armament. I am also projecting removing the torpedo tubes, and adding aircraft. These stats are always open for debate and are my projections only.
