Looks like you are off to a great start. You will learn new techniques over time.
For fine detail like your swastika I would suggest leaving the white circle and then when dry come back with a fine felt tip pen.
Not sure if you are doing this or not, but when you are happy with the paint job suggest you seal them with a clear coat as this will help protect the piant. I use "Testors dull coat" and spray a couple light coats.
Keep up the good work, you will be amazed how you will develop new techniques over time.

Looking good. I'v seen/heard of people using the fine point pen trick before. It works out pretty well.
