Gents, After a brief hiatus I'm preparing for a NT:RotB Yellow Sea game, [having been distracted by moving house and by Colonial Battlefleet ]. My question is regarding ships data card entry for 'Speed' and the optional acceleration rule. Is the ship's Speed quoted the ships maximum speed? There doen't seem to be a maximum cap indicated in the optional acceleration rule. i.e. a Cruiser could accelerate +2 MPs per turn each turn repeatedly..... My thought was that the 'Speed' rating was the ship's maximum effective sustainable speed. So a Cruiser with a Speed rating of 6 could slow 2MPs/Turn from 6, but not exceed 6 Is my interpretation correct? Cheers! Wilf

Exactly, the speed listed is the max speed for the ship. The acceleration by ship type only refers to how fast they can change their speed (within the stated limit).

Thanks for the affirmation, Admiral Dreadnought, Sir! ;-)
