Nicely done, Roe - good on you! Seems pretty good to me - isn't it satisfying when you see something come to life? And when you develop a whole game (with all the time taken for EACH ship)....Harry, RESPECT!

Yeah, didn't last long vs. the Abruzzis, at least she was able to draw fire enough to get my DLs into party range. Wished either version were faster though :/ Cheers mate! Agreed, salute to Harry!

Looks good Mattatknsn. Easy to modify too to make it useable for my early war French, cheers.
One thing though I always thought the Emile Bertin had the same turret layout as the La Galls and was the basis for this later ship? That is they had 3x3 6" gun turrets not a 3/2/3 layout. Which source had that?
As for survivability use the alternate to hits with DDs 10+ and CLs 9+. Has worked great for our group.

I've read somewhere that during the refit, they used the middle gun of the #2 turret as a template to reproduce the barrels and was returned some time after the war (citation needed lol)... Cheers! I've seen that photo many times as well but also plenty of photos showing the original layout and was just wondering why you chose the 3/2/3 layout. I thought I read somewhere it was a turret accident and the gun couldn't be replaced by the Free French Forces? Same outcome but I can't remember the date on this. Much better ship with the extra firepower. Really good destroyer leader.

...wondering why you chose the 3/2/3 layout... Cheers Martin! Hmmm... I can't find any specific dates when the barrel was removed, nor do I know when it was installed. Only idea I have is she got it back when she was returned to France - it's unique enough for me, unless choosing/class limit/maxing out the US-refit La Gals Or alternatively... I like The 3/2/3 version myself, It is Unique. Good work !!
One point of note, your Secondary Weapons line for the 3/3/3 version should read... Secondary Weapons: 9 x 6"/55; 8 x 3.5"/50 Not...
Secondary Weapons: 8 x 6"/55; 8 x 3.5"/50.
Good job non the less...
