Yes Bubbacleese, leave it to the Brits to come up with odd names for their scout aircraft. Supermarine walrus being launched from the HMS Bermuda 1943.

the mental image that is going though my mind right now of all these different scale ships sailing out to meet the ememy incombat......lets see, serval races of gaints in the 600 and 1000 scale....to the very tiny over looked 6000 scale....just the image of doing a game in the different scales at once and different era ships none the less would be very amsuing....everything from ssialing ships, civil war, carriers, robots, battle ships and everything else..... as for a battle line up.....you would use your 6000 line up as scouts cause they seem to be over looked by everyone since the normal range in here is 2400 to 1200 with only 2 3000 scale players on here. you would want the 600 scale as your main line since that is the line breaker for just sheer size and pounding......it would be one very funny one off game to play though just the for sillyness facter...

Well we could ramp up the crazy even more-so.. A 5" shell from a 1/600 ship does 4x damage to a 1/2400 ;D 1/3000 ships get a bonus to dodge torpedo attacks from 1/1250 as the "fish" are larger than the target.. of course should they hit it's practically an obliteration, unless you get an over-penetration.. in which case the Torpedo smashes right through the target. Imagine the horror of record keeping such an engagement would entail...

a 6000 you would need to let sevral ships combine fire into one roll to facter in the amount of fire power they are tossing out agaist a bigger target. as for the torps at hitting a 6000 or 3000 from 1250 or bigger would be as you said....if they done just miss sevral targets since the smaller ships would be ridding much higher in the water then a torp of that size... as for a 600 sized smooth bore cannon would be area effect agaist 3000 and 6000 scale though....the record keeping would be easy......the smalller scale is going to loss things left and right but they will do damage to the bigger ships and would have the rate of fire also since most of the bigger scales so far are sailing ships and civil war stuff....

Shellback,
what ever became of Games Caucus (Memorial Day Weekend) and Pacificon (Labor Day weekend)? They were both great Bay Area Cons.
