Hi captains, I need a definition about the main battery firing..! Let say that i have HMS Lion and there are two targets, one in front arc and one to port arc..... so may i write them and fire 4 shots (with p/s and a/p/s turrets) to the port target and 4 shot (front turrets) to the front target OR i have to choose only one target..??

Welcome to the boards! I personally would have only ONE target, that appears to be what happened historically IIRC. Fire control just was not that advanced at that time to deal with multiple targets. The only exception would be firing guns with local control - but that really would be outside the scope of these rules.. I hope that helps... Cheers, Phil

fluorophil is on target with his assessment of WWI fire control. One set of guns could use the primary main battery director and the other guns would have to use the in-turret rangefinders. These would only be used as a last resort as the base length of these in-turret rangefinders was much smaller than the main battery director. Accuracy would be severely hampered if not using the main battery director.
